I have traced my Montgomery family from Eglington in Scotland to Carnmoney in Ireland it has been fun and interesting and i am happy to share with other Montgomery families. |

We came from Tyrone, Moutrays of Favour Royal. I believe Moutray and Montgomery married (from whom I am descended) Cf: moutray1, on stirnet. I believe they were neighbouring familes in Scotland, who became neighbouring families in Tyrone and then later in Carolina(?). I would be interested in hearing of any Moutray-Montgomery connections. |
