In 1910 Agnes was 12 years of age which means she was born in 1897 or 1898.

    An email dated 5 May 2011 from Jean Hoffman attached a Kansas Death Certificate for Elizabeth Montgomery, the wife of Alexander Jasper Montgomery, with a death date of 9 May 1929. Based on this information, I have replaced the death date originally submitted which was 18 May 1921. Ms. Hoffman also suggests that the place of birth was probably Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania which is where her parents and grandparents lived and died.

    They both lived in Saluda township Jefferson County Indiana in 1850 Census microfilm page no 239 visitation numbers 196 for Alexander, 197 for James Catherine's maiden name is not known. She may be a 2nd wife based on the childrens ages (25 when James was born, 37 when Hanna was born).
