SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Ruth Isgitt Presson, longtime resident andbusiness owner of Shreveport will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at2 p.m. at Friendship Church of the Nazarene in Robeline, LA Intermentwill be at the Friendship Nazarene Cemetery following the services underthe direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, LA

Mrs. V.R. "Ruth" Presson was born January 28, 1914 in Robeline, LA Shepassed away on November 24, 2002 in Natchitoches, LA She is preceded indeath by her husband of fifty-six years, Veldon Ray Presson; her parents,Mr. and Mrs. Fisher Isgitt; brother, Fisher Isgitt, Jr.; sisters, OreeNichols, Mattie Lee Clark, Odessa Clark, and Dois Isgitt.

Mrs. Presson is survived by two daughters, Betty Wales and husband Rev.Harry Wales of Bethany, OK and Barbara Veuleman and husband BuddyVeuleman of Robeline, LA; two sons, Austin Ray Presson and wife Nancy ofShreveport, LA and Bobby Dale Presson and wife Merryl of Goldonna, LA;eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is alsosurvived by one brother, Fred Ernest Isgitt of Anacocco, LA

Mrs. Presson operated a successful Real Estate Agency, Ruth PressonRealty of Shreveport, for more than 30 years. She remained active in thereal estate business until she fully retired at age 82. During hersemi-retirement she was associated with Century 21 with Gordan and PatSpigener, brokers.

Mrs. Pressons was a member of a number of civic, charitable, andprofessional organizations. She was the last surviving charter member ofFriendship Church of the Nazarene where her funeral services will beheld. She was also a long time member of First Church of the Nazarene inShreveport where she was very actively involved for many years.WarrenMeadows F.H.

Mattie Viola Isgitt, Sabine Parish, Many, LA, Sep 27, 1957

27 Sep 1957 - Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Viola Isgitt, age 76, whopassed away at Marthaville, Friday, Sept. 20 was conducted at 10 a.m.Saturday, Sept. 21 at Friendship church with Rev. J. D. Scottofficiating. Interment was in Fort Jesup cemetery under the direction ofWarren Funeral home.

Survivors are sons, Fisher Isgitt of Natchitoches, Earnest Isgitt ofLeesville; daughters, Mrs. Vildon Presson of Shreveport, Mrs. Silas Clarkof Robeline, Mrs. Bruce Clark and Miss Doris Clark of Robeline, Mrs. PeteBrewster of Pelican; sister, Mrs. John Flemman of Marthaville; 22grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Austin Presson, Bobby Dale Presson, Benny Van Clark,Billie Gene Clar, Barthell Gillispi and Emerald Sandel.

Creed Taylor Isgitt, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Jan 27, 1939

27 Jan 1939 - Creed Taylor Isgitt, age 84 years, who passed away January18 near Many, was laid to rest in the Mt. Carmel cemetery last Thursdayevening at 2:30. Service at the Mt. Carmel church with Rev. C. T.Kennedy officiating. Six of the grandsons served as pallbearers.

Surviving Mr. Isgitt are five sons, Fisher and Fank of Robeline, Henry ofConverse, J. E. of Many, and Ben of Zwolle; also two daughter, Mrs. B. J.Lockwood of Florien Route One, and Mrs. M. B. Dowden of Many Route One.
