22 Dec 1961 - Funeral services for Mrs. J. P. Clower, Sr., age 85 whodied Dec. 17, was conducted at Central Baptist church at 10 a.m. Dec. 19with Rev. Oliver Roberts, Rev. O. H. Prothro and Rev. Elliottofficiating. Interment was in church cemetery under the direction ofWarren Funeral Home.

Survivors are daughter, Mrs. G. W. Byrd, Mrs. V. N. Salter, and MissBessie Clower all of Robeline, one son J. P. Clower, Jr., of Robeline,two sisters, Mrs. C. K. Cassidy of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Mattie Brister ofAlexandria, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
