Mr. Elie Garcie died at the age of 94, in Many, on Dec. 2, 1987, at 4 p.m.
He was preceded in death by a son, Eli Garcie Jr., and his first wife,Josephine Garcie.
Services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, on Dec. 4, at 2 p.m.,with Father Earl Provenza officiating. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery,under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Sepulvado Garcie of Noble; two sons,Clifton Garcie, and Johnny Garcie, both of Noble; five daughters, LucindaSepulvado, and Thelma Sepulvado, both of Zwolle, Roselle Fuselier, andLovell Guidroz, both of Metairie, and Elvira Hebert of New Orleans; 28grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.Family/Spouse: Josephine Sepulvado.
