5 Mar 1943 - The many friends of J. C. Corley, age 73, of Noble weresorry to hear of his sudden death Thursday morning. He was stricken withparalysis about 3:30 Thursday morning and lived only a short time.

He was a member of the Carson Baptist Church of Zwolle, where he servedfaithfully for about 18 years and was well like by everyone who knew him.

Funeral services were held Friday at three o'clock at Mt. Carmel. Rev.Joe Flanagan of Zwolle and Rev. Baggett of Noble officiated, intermentMt. Carmel cemetery, Drewitt funeral home in charge.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Annie Corley of Noble; six sisters, Mrs. SteveDebose, Mrs. Frank Leatherwood, Mrs. Tedford Lynn, Mrs. Jack Sharp, Mrs.Dave Loften and Mrs. George Davis; two daughters, Mrs. E. A. Almon andMrs. B.C. Isgitt; one son, Dan Corley; 14 grandchildren and threegreat-grandchildren.
