Jim Bell, 73, of Many, died Saturday, March 25, in Many, after anextended illness.
Funeral services were conducted at the Ft. Jesup First Baptist Church,with the Rev. Ray Penfield, the Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. M. C. Greenofficiating. Interment was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the directionof Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian V. Bell of Many; two sons,Willie Bell of Many, and Bobbie Bell of Florien; three daughters, Mrs.Charlie Self, and Mrs. Una Rhodes of Many, and Mrs. Ray Howard ofPasadena, Tex.; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.Family/Spouse: Lillian V. Peacock. Lillian (daughter of Joe Peacock and Ranie Woods) was born on 26 Sep 1900 in Sabine, Louisiana, USA; died on 19 May 1989 in Many, Sabine, Louisiana, USA; was buried in Ft.
