Notes - No record of her baptism has been found yet. The family must have moved some time between 1835 and 1837. The last three children, Ann, Patrick and James, were baptised elsewhere in another church.
On the 1860 census he was a boot bottomer. We have no record of when he left Milford but we think he accompied Patrick to New Orleans in 1860, after the 1860 census was taken. He died in New Orleans at the very young age of 23 or 24. As yet, we do not have his death certificate.
From his obituary we know he died at the Home of Patrick, his brother.
His death notice was published in The New Orleans Times on Tuesday August 11, 1868 on page 4 and read as follows:
"DIED-On Sunday morning, August 9, 1868, at 4 o'clock, at the residence of his brother, No. 593 Claborne street, JAMES BRADLEY, native of County Meath, Ireland, age 23 years.
