      Keith followed a number of vocations during his life. As a farmer,he emigrated to Canada,and initially farmed in the Oak Bay area on Vancouver Island. Subsequently he ran a seed farm in the vicinity of Cloverdale, BC. In the '50s he quit farming and ran a paint retail business in Burnaby. He left the paint business to operate a perfume business on Vancouver Island, until retiring in Ladysmith.
      Keith separated from his wife (Rae); he was survived by his son Ian, who is a warehouseman.
