Notes - Information is from Miss Gertrude Montgomery of Ada, Oklahoma. She is the
daughter of Rachel Everheart Montgomery Montgomery, daughter of Lucian Pickney
Montgomery. She named the childen of William Montgomery as, Emerson, George,
Percival, Addison (born in Limestone Co. Ala.). She said that Emerson, George,
Pickney settled in the Canana community. Addison settled in Denton Co. and
Percival settled in Huntsville, Texas. She said he was a captain in the
Confederate Army.
She added that George Montgomery, born 10 Feb 1827, moved to Alabama in 1831.
Married Martha J. Pritchett. Moved to Texas 1848. Lived at Savoy, Fannin Co.,
