  ! Per newspaper account, Arthur died at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Heart failure was the probable cause. Preferred Name: Arthur Occupation: Farmer; Worked briefly as cotton gin manager during Depression. HEALTH: Had skin cancer removed from face in later life; probably from long exposure to sun while in the fields. Had heart problems in later life. Lost all fingers, except his thumb, on one hand while working in the cotton gin; wore a leather cover over the stump. Used a cigarette rolling machine to make cigarettes because he could not "roll your own" with only one hand.
