"Graveside services will be held for former Haskell County resident, Dianne Bland, 54, of Greenville on Saturday, Dec.30, at Willow Cemetery with Rev. Jim Turner officiating. Memorial services were held Saturday, Dec. 23, at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville with Glenn Slater and Rev. Melvin Ray officiating.
Bland died Wednesday, Dec 20 at her home in Greenville. She was born Sept.12, 1941, in Haskell to H.B. and Coreen (sp.) Gallagher Montgomery. She married Dwayne Bland on July 3, 1960 in Haskell. She was co-owner of Home Maintenance and was a member of Paint Creek Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Dwayne Bland of Greenville; one son, Wayde Montgomery Bland of Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Meredeth (sp.) DiLynn Tull and Allison Delane Fletcher, both of Greenville; one sister, Suzanne Dale of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Greenville Christian School or the Outreach Health Services Patient Fund."
DEATH:
Died from stomach cancer.
BURIAL: Remains were cremated; most were buried in Haskell, with the rest scattered in the lake where they owned property.
