  !Sources: Letters from Alma Baldwin dated 2/18/78, 8/25/78, 12/03/78. Joe J. Cabe's first wife, Mary, is buried on the Cabe lot in Weddington Gap, per Wilma Hedge. Per notes from 7/4/78 visit to Weddington Gap Cemetery, her tombstone says: Mary, wife of Joe Cabe/Born Feb.15, 1851/Died Jan.30 1892/ Married Mar.28, 1869/Daughter of J.D. Thomason. There are also a number of other Cabes buried in this cemetery, including some of J.J. Cabe's children. Alma believed that Joe J. Cabe had 10 children, including Zack, Mabel, Daisy, Jodie, Carl (all by first wife, Mary); and Eula , Stella (by second wife, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Montgomery. She believes that Joe and Mary Cabe lived around Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
