  Line 1465 from GEDCOM File not recognizable or too long: BURI PLAC Long Prairie Cem,Kerens,NavArkansasro Co.,Texas !Source: Memorial card from funeral/death notice shows death 14 Dec.1910 at age 76, making her birthday sometime in 1834. Navarro County Cemetery Records, located in Clayton Genealogical Library, Houston, TX, shows that Matilda E. Burgess is buried in the Long Prairie Cemetery (also known as Alligator Creek Cemetery) located about 6 miles south of Kerens, TX. This was verified by a personal visit to her gravesite by John C. Montgomery. There is also an unmarked and probably unused gravesite next to her. The 1910 Census of Navarro Co. shows that Mrs. Burgess was living in the household of Robert C. Matthews, and she is identified as his mother-in-law, confirming that she is the mother of Willie Louise Burgess Matthews.
