Funeral services for John Dewey Montgomery, were held Friday, Jan. 7,1983, at 2 p.m., at Shady Grove Methodist Church. Services were under thedirection of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Interment was held at HickoryGrove Cemetery, with Bro. Wayne Hicks officiating.
Mr. Montgomery died Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 12:05 p.m., in Shreveport, atthe age of 80. He was a resident of Bellwood.
Surviving relatives are his wife, Rena H. Montgomery of Bellwood; oneson, W. G. Montgomery of Leesville; three daughters, Mrs. Leslie Nash ofKeithville, Mrs. Howard Kile of Longview, Tex., Mrs. Dewey W. Moss,Saginaw, Tex.; 11grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host ofnieces and
nephews.
