  !BIRTH-DEATH: Pension letter states on 04 Sep 1832 that his age was 75 (copy of the letter in the possession of Jay R. Montgomery). General AccountingOffice certificate #7779 lists information on death and children. This cert. was dated 21 May 1942. Estate Records, Box 213, Lincoln Co Court House. !MARRIAGE: He was called "Black-Headed Billy" to distinguish him from theother "William's". He married his cousin Elizabeth Montgomery. He was willed land in Washington County, Virginia by his father, John.
