According to Jean Taylor it was Will Book B, pg 248 (1817-Logan, KY).From Jean
"the division of his estate: 'I give and bequeath to Betsy and Polly Montgomery,
heirs of my son Alexander Montgomery, dec'd, all my right and title to a
certain tract or parsel of land sypposed to be 150 acres N.W. of my present
farm adjoining the lands of Richard Bell Sr. which land is settled by Zachariah
Barnett, so to them and their heirs forever also I give up an open account
which I now have against my dec'd son Alexander Montgomery of those particular
items (to wit) one horse bridle and saddle one hundred dollars one ditto eighty
dollars three cows 10 dollars each, two ewes five dollars one ax threede-to
one hoe one dollar, hog ten dollars which said acpt I freely tender up (as
satisfied)' 'I give to each of my two grandchildren Polly and Betty Montgomery
a sidesaddle worth twenty-two dollars when they arrive to age of eighteen.'" I

!BIRTH: Ruth Little-Alexander was in Washington Co., VA living onBeaverdam
Creek in the vicinity of Benjamin Logan, his brother-in-law. Alexanderfought
in the Revolution. It is believed that Alexander was killed by Indianswhile
scouting on the Ohio River with Simon Kenton. This information comes froma book
