Milo B. Medlock Sr
Funeral services for Milo Brantley Medlock Sr., 88, of 1020 CourtlandAve.,
who died Wednesday will be held at 11 a.m. today in the St. Paul'sEpiscopal
Church.
The Rev. Stewart Matthews will officiate and burial will be in the RoseHill
Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Albert S. Hatcher, Tad E. Murphy,John
Talbird, Wiley Jordan, Derry Burns and Billy McCowen. Honory pallbearerswill
be Dr. Spright Dowell, Milton Heard Sr., James Siocum, Earnest Barfield,Robert
Barfield, Linton Solomon Jr., Dr. Frank F. Jones, T. Baldwin Martin Sr.,C. M.
Roberson and William P. Simmons.
Mr. Medlock was born in Washington County, the son of J.M.G. Medlockand Mrs.
Sara Anne Hardeman Madlock and had lived here for 66 years, moving herefrom
Cordele. He was a member of the St. Paul;s Episcopal Church, pastpresident of
the Rotary Club, a member of the Camelia Society and served on the RationBoard
during Worl War II. Prior to his retirement he was associated with theArmour
& company for 30 > years.
Surviving are a son, Milo B. Medlock, Jr. of Westernsprings, IL; two
daughters, Mrs. Harace Weems of Macon and Mrs. Edgar I. Rogers of Buford,S.C.;
seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces andnephews.
Hart's Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
