  !BIRTH-MARRIAGE-DEATH: W. Harold Medlock..he farmed until the Civil War,then served in Co A, 6th LA Cavalry, C.S.A. His service record states he was a prisoner of war. He enlisted under the initials W.J.T. Medlock, but afterthe war, he dropped the "T" and used only the initials J.W. He was a Methodist minister and a member of the Methodist Conference.
