  !MARRIAGE: When she married Count Geoffrey the Handsome, she was 25 years old, self-willed, puffed up with pride in her Imperial rank, bad-tempered and notoriously hard to please. He was only 15, although already an orphan and in possession of his fiefs; in addition to being her junior by 9 years he was also her inferior in rank.
