    • !BIRTH-MARRIAGE-DEATH: "Peter Burbee"..died of a sudden heart attack.George
      learned the printing trade in Louisville, KY and established the "LarueCounty
      Herald" newspaper in Hodgenville, KY in 1881. He obtained a degree in lawbut
      never practiced and was working as a "clerk in the U.S. Pension Office" in
      1894. By 1902, he had moved to Evansville, IN and from there on to Ohiowhere
      he became the editor of the "Dayton News" newspaper. He was working as an
      editoial writer for the "Columbus Dispatch" newspaper in Columbus, OH atthe
      time of his death. He was awarded a Carnegie Hero Medal in 1910 forrescuing a
      child from drowning. He also served as a private secretary for OhioGovenor
      James Middleton Cox(1870-1957) who also owned both the "Dayton News" andthe
      "Columbus Dispatch". George and his family were living at 1708 FranklinAve.,
      Columbus, OH in 1920
