  !BIRTH-MARRIAGE-DEATH: From John Rupe Everingham. According to Andreas Illustrated Historical Atlas of Lee County, Iowa dated 1874, page 38,Green Casey was the first male white child born in Adair County. Green Casey and his wife Jane Patterson casey were people of education, and earnest membersof the Presbyterian Church. Submitted by Caroline W.Chapman McGowan, CMS 894, and others. Updated Oct. 2000. Per email dated 11 Aug 2005 from Lee Lewallen, Green Casey was a member of the Indian Point Presbyterian Church and is probably buried in the Irish Grove Cemetery.
