      James Richard Walker, son of Mr. & Mrs.Leonard Wheeler, and Dorothy Montgomery, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. AlmonMontgomery, were united in marriage Sunday, July 25, in a simpleservice at the First Baptist church. Immediately following the morning sermon, yesterday, the or ganist, Olive Faust, played "O PrimseMe", and then the wed ding march from "Lohengrin" as the bridal party,entered the church. Dr. W.C. Hart, pastor of the church officiated.Miss Montgomery was attractively attired in a floor length flock ofwhite silk mar quisette, and white accesso ries, with shoulder bouquetof white rosebuds and babys breath. Her attendant Elaine Nease ofBelvidere, wore a white satin striped taffeta with a shoulder bouquetsimilar to that of the bride, but of red rosebuds and babys breath.Malvern Bland of Kirkland was best man. As the single ring servicewas completed the wed ding march by Mendelssohn was played as arecessional The bridal party then went to the home of the bride'sparents where a six course dinner was beautifully served. In the center of the table were summer flowers nicely arranged, and the deliciousdinner was served by friends of the bride, under the direction of Mrs.Eugene Kallembach, ant of the bride. Opal Amos, Irene Amos, Etta Neaceand Shirleen Kallembach served the 35 guests attending, The Montgomeryhome was appropriately deco rated with many flowers for the occasion.Many lovely wedding gifts were presented Mr. and Mrs. Walker, who leftsoon after the dinner for Sterling where they will spend their honeymoon.For traveling Mrs. Walker wore a white linen suit, with pink blouse andwhite accessories. The bride attended the DeKalb Township High Schooland Mr. Walker has been employed on the home farm, where he and his bridewill make their home for the present. Out of town guests were: Mr. andMrs. Willis Burr of Sterling, Mary Fretz of Memphis, Tenn., Irene andOpal Amos of Caledonial; Etta Neace and Elaine Neace of Belvidere; Mr.and Mrs. Eugene Kallembach of Sycamore, with Dr. and Mrs. W.C. Hart, alsoattending the dinner at the Montgomery home near DeKalb. severaldinner parties are being planned for the newly married couple upon theirreturn from Sterling, the first to be given by the brides auntMrs.Kallembach.
