Mr. Horne and his wife are distant cousins who both trace their lineage back to Capt. Samuel Montgomery, he through Annie Montgomery and she through a sister, Lydia Montgomery.

BIOGRAPHY: Per an email from a non-member, Elmer Thomas Horne, Jr. dated 19 Aug 2003, Martha Jane Forrest and her husband,Thomas Jefferson Horne, lived and raised their children on the old Forrest homestead near Metcalfe, Thomas County Georgia.
