Mrs. Bessie Mae Nelms Honeycutt of Vowells Mill, LA, died Wednesday,March 30, 1983, at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital. She was 78 yearsold.
Funeral services for Mrs. Honeycutt were held Friday, April 1, at 2 p.m.,at the Bellwood Baptist Church, with burial following at Bellwood BaptistChurch Cemetery. Rev. Davis, and Rev. Cook officiated. Arrangements weremade through Blanchard Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were GregoryHoneycutt, Charles Honeycutt, Tony Honeycutt, Clifton Honeycutt, ReginaldWilson, and two honorary pallbearers, Fenton Nichols, and Nolen Nelms.
Surviving relatives are four sons, Wilburn Honeycutt, Sherman Honeycutt,both of Vowells Mill, Douglas Honeycutt of Natchitoches, and DonellHoneycutt of Shreveport; two sisters, Zella Honeycutt of Alice, Texas,Mabry Denton of Houston, Texas; one brother, J. B. Nelms of Doyline, LA;eight grandchildren;
and two great grandchildren.
