Burial was in BellwoodCemetery, under the direction of the St. Denis Funeral Home ofNatchitoches. Survivors include two sons, Wilmer Gandy of Natchitoches, and Fred Gandyof Bellwood; four daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Green of Bellwood, Mrs.Winnifred Carriger of Shreveport, Mrs. Vertie Edwards of El Cajon, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Della Speights ofnegreet, Mrs. Nerma Smith of Crockett, Ark., Mrs. Emma Miller ofKirbyville, Tex., and Mrs. Penola Cheives of Alexandria; three brothers,mack Gandy of Provencal, George Gandy of Columbia, and Edward Gandy ofPineville; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
