Mrs. Mattie Norsworthy, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Mar 2, 1951 2 Mar 1951 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Mattie Norsworthy, 52, who wasfatally stricken by a heart attack at the home of her parents inShreveport Thursday of last week were conducted at Middlecreek Baptistchurch 2 p.m. Friday by Rev. M. L. Delk. Interment followed under thedirection of Warren Funeral Home. Surviving relatives include: husband, Walter Norsworthy, Many, son, LeonNorsworthy, Port Arthur, Texas; daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Smith and Mrs.Syble Robinson, both of Many, Mrs. Archie Barr, Vernon, Miss Mildred McDowell, Lake Charles; parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T.Nettles, Shreveport; brothers, Bill Nettles, Monroe, Luther, Lonnie andNorman Nettles, all of Shreveport; sister, Mrs. Clema Kilpatrick, Manyand seven grandchildren.
