      Phanor Honeycutt, 73, of Vowels Mill, died Friday, Sept. 21, in aNatchitoches hospital, after a long illness.

      The funeral was held at 3 p.m., in New Cedron Baptist Church in VowelsMill, with the Rev. Luther Despino officiating. Burial followed in thechurch cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Homeof Natchitoches.

      Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vera T. Honeycutt of Vowels Mill; oneson, Charles W. Honeycutt of Robeline; two daughters, Lola Tahquechi ofLawton, Okla., and Yvonne Holland of Natchitoches; four sisters, RosaLott of DeRidder, Nora Singletary of Vowels Mill, Kate Montgomery ofBellwood, and Ida
      Spencer of Shreveport; two brothers, Frank Honeycutt of Alice, Texas, andWillie Honeycutt of Bellwood; five grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one step great grandchild
