Services for Vera Tynes Honeycutt will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 5,2003 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. David Lloyd officiating.Burial will be in New Cedron Cemetery at Vowells Mill, La.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003 from 5 p.m. till 9 p.m. and onSunday, October 5, 2003 from 8 a.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Mrs. Honeycutt, 88, of Vowells Mill, La., died Friday, October 3, 2003 atNatchitoches Parish Hospital in Natchitoches, La.
She was a native of Vowells Mill, La. She was a homemaker and a memberof New Cedron Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phanor Honeycutt; one sonJames; parents William Tynes and Della Beason Tynes; and a number ofbrothers and sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters, Yvonne Holland and husband, Trumanof Natchitoches, La. and Lola Tahquechi and fiance Sam Stewart of Elgin,Oklahoma; one son Charles Honeycutt and wife Shelby of Vowells Mill, La.;and special friend Annie Lambert of Vowells Mill, La.; one sister, IreneSims or Ragley, La.; five grandchildren, July Maley of Robeline, La.,Ronald Holland of Natchitoches, La., Debra Mountain of Elgin, Oklahoma,Paula Hilton of Natchitoches, La., and Susan Lukens of Robeline, La.; tengreat-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Maley, Ronald Holland, Christopher Baca, JaceMorris, Anthony Maley, and Billy Maley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Truman Holland, Robert Lukens, ThomasHilton, and Sam Stewart.
