R. L. Polke, 84, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, in Natchitoches, after a shortillness. Services were held Friday, Dec. 10, at Bellwood Baptist Church,with the Rev. E. E. Dees, Monroe Roberts, and Lee
Perkins officiating.
Burial was in the Bellwood Cemetery, under direction of Warren MeadowsFuneral Home of Many.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. R. L. Polke of Provencal; two daughters,Mrs. Beatrice Clark of Robeline, and Mrs. Ira Norsworthy of Bellwood; oneson, Robert E. Polke of Provencal; one brother, Earl Polke of Hemphill,Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Wagley of Provencal, Mrs. Ira Foshee ofRobeline, and Mrs.
Katie Canady of Florien; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were L. B. Kile, Johnny Cox, Ray Polke, Deryl Kile, LonnieWagley, and Royce Norsworthy.
