Holland died in his home at Vowells Mill at the age of 76, onFeb. 17, following a short illness. He is survived by his son, Woodrow Holland of Vowells Mill; twodaughters, Mrs. Gladys Foshee of Vowells Mill, and Gracie Foshee ofOakdale; four brothers, John, Ivy, and Freeborn Holland, all of Vowells Mill, and George Holland of Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Exie Fosheefrom Provincal, and Mrs. Emma Polk of Bellwood, Necie and Bessie Foshee,both of Vowells Mill; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in New Cedron Baptist Church on Thursday, Feb.19 at 2:30 p.m. Officiating was the Rev. Billy Nosler. Burial was underthe direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many, in Becky Murry Cemetery.
