Mrs. Cordie Masters, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Nov 25, 1976 Mrs. Cordie Masters, 88, of Many, died in Shreveport, Saturday, Nov. 20,at 12:15 a.m., after a short illness. Funeral services were held at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Monday, Nov.22, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. C. H. Welch, and the Rev. Marvin Brownofficiating. Interment was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under thedirection of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving relatives are one brother, Jim Gibson of Natchitoches, onesister, Sarah Singletary of Plainview; two step-daughters, Mrs. EllaHildebrand, Shreveport, and Mrs. Ethel McMurray of New Orleans; two step-sons, Walter Masters of Shreveport, and Arthur Mastersof Quilan, Tex., and a host of nieces and nephews.
