      Mrs. Sim Foshee of Vowells Mill, 74, died in Natchitoches, Jan. 6, afteran extended illness. She is survived by her husband; five sons, Nuell,and Eddie Foshee of Vowells Mill, Yloyd Foshee of Abilene, Tex., FloydFoshee of Laporte, Tex., and Earl Foshee of Oakdale; one daughter, Mrs.Evelyn Rigsby of Vowells Mill; a brother, Earl Polke of Hemphill, Tex.;two sisters, Mrs. Katie Canady of Many, and Mrs. Cora Wagley ofProvencal; 11grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

      Services were held at the New Cedron Baptist Church, Jan. 8, withinterment at Foshee Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Homeof Many. Ministers officiating were Mr. Dees, and the Rev. Monroe Roberts.
