The services were held in the ToroBaptist Church, with the Rev. J. R. Odom, and the Rev. Julius McCormickofficiating. Burial was in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction ofWarren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Survivors include her three sons, B. H. Arthur of Many, Howard Arthur ofFlorien, and Robert (Son) Arthur of Natchitoches; five daughters, Mrs.Mertie Dillard of Robeline, Mrs. Gertie Patrick of DeQuincy, Mrs. LenaCook of Florien, Mrs. Ethel Jordan of Robeline, and Mrs. Joyce Bailey ofCampti; half brother, Wilson Chance of Ringgold; two half sisters, Mrs.L. H. Rivers of Noble, and Mrs. Titia Masters of Hornbeck; and 24grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
