      Roy Lee Cobb, Sabine Parish, Many, LA, Oct 4, 1979

      Roy Lee Cobb, 78, of Many, died in Shreveport, Saturday, Sept. 29, at7:35 p.m., after an extended illness.

      Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 1, at 4 p.m., in the WarrenMeadows Chapel, with Bishop Glen Hardy officiating. Burial followed inthe Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

      Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lilly Joan Cobb of Many; one son,Laverne Cobb of Vidor, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Tommy Cassel ofShreveport; one brother, Barney Cobb of Many; three grandchildren, andthree great grandchildren.

      Pallbearers were Roger Whatley, Donald Bridges, Keith Cobb, GreggFletcher, Jerry Cobb, Jerry Bridges, and E. J. Cobb.
