      MS Gracie Hattie Knippers, 84, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at IHS of Many#2.

      Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, at FriendshipChurch of the Nazarene, with interment following a Friendship NazareneCemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Armstrong, the Rev. Dan Mappus, and the Rev.Winston Lowe officiated.

      Survivors include three sons, Herbert Knippers, Charles Knippers, andLarry Knippers, all of Many; two daughters, Glenda Thaxton, and ConnieCarroll, both of Robeline; two sisters, Minnie Faust of Robeline, andOllie Dowden of Natchitoches; eight grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and a host of nieces,
      nephews, and friends.

      Pallbearers were Jason Carroll, Robert Carroll, Benny Faust, John DavidThaxton, Thelton Wall, and Tommy Koss.
