      Mr. Joseph Barney Cobb, Sr., 85, of Many, died at St. Patrick Hospital inLake Charles, LA, on Oct. 10, 1985, at 7:30 a.m.

      Services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, onFriday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. Officiating the ceremony were Elder GlenHardy, and Bishop John Michael Slay. Interment was in the Mt. CarmelCemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

      Pallbearers were his grandsons, Don Cobb, Joe Cobb, Keith Cobb, KevinCobb, Kenneth Cobb, and great grandson, Keith Mayes.

      Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mettie Miller Cobb of Many; one son,Joseph Barney Cobb Jr. of Shreveport; two daughters, Bernice Williams,and Jennie Mayes, both of Lake Charles, LA; six
      grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
