Weldon, age 88, who died April 27, were conductedat Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, at 2:30 p.m., April 28, with Rev. J. I.,Funderburk, and Rev. Leo Westbrook officiating. Interment was in thechurch cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home. Survivors are sons, Dewey Weldon of Many, Andrew Weldon of Florien, A. G.Weldon of Shreveport; stepson, Louis Strickland of Plainview; daughter,Mrs. Millie Snell of Houston; stepdaughters, Mrs. J. W. Daniels ofPlainview, Mrs. Olla Merritt of Shreveport, Mrs. Barbara Caswell ofAnacoco; 16 randchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
