      Edna Julia Weldon, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Mar 3, 1983

      Mrs. Edna Julia Weldon of Florien, died Tuesday, March 1, 1983, at 9a.m., at her residence in the Mt. Carmel Community, after a shortillness. She was 72.

      Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 2, at 11 a.m., in the Mt.Carmel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Billy Wood officiating. Burialfollowed in the church cemetery. The services were under the direction ofthe Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

      She is survived by her husband, Mr. Andrew J. Weldon of the Mt. CarmelCommunity; two sons, Andrew (Bud) Weldon, Jennings, and Swepson Weldon,Keithville; two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Cobbs,
      Keithville, and Mrs. Genevieve Stewart, Porter, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs.Gracey Evans, Fisher, and Mrs. Hazel Lucius Toro; 11 grandchildren; andtwo great grandchildren.
