      Aim Weldon, 74, of Florien, died Saturday, March 24, at 6:13 a.m., inMany, after a short illness.

      Funeral services were held at the Peason United Pentecost Church, Sunday,March 25, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. A. L. Starks, and the Rev. M. C.Green officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under thedirection of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

      Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ida Weldon of Florien; two sons, A. G.Weldon of Longstreet, and Loy Sherman Weldon of Florien; two daughters,Mrs. Sylvia Walker of Greenville, Tex., and Mrs. Ruth Goins ofLogansport; one brother, Barney Weldon of Shreveport; 12 grandchildren;five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
