Mr. Amos G. Weldon of Florien, died Fri., Dec. 17, 1982, at 8 a.m., inShreveport. He was 52 years old. Mr. Weldon succumbed after an extendedillness.
Funeral services for Mr. Weldon were held Sunday, Dec. 19, at 10 a.m., atPeason Pentecost Church, with interment held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Rev.Ken Busnell officiated. Services were under the direction of WarrenMeadows Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include one son, Robert Glen Weldon, San Jose,Calif.; three daughters, Kathy King, Caddo Mills, Tx., Cindy Doxey, JoyceLangley, both of Bossier City; his mother, Ida Weldon of Florien; twosisters, Sylvia Walker, Sulphur Springs, Tx., Ruth Goins, Logansport; andsix grandchildren.
