      Dewey Weldon, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Dec 10, 1970

      Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m., in the WarrenBaptist Church for Dewey Weldon, 68, of Many, who died after a shortillness. Officiating at the services were the Rev. Johnny Rhodes, and theRev. Travis McCollough, with interment in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, underthe direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

      Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Billie Lou Luster, Many,and Mrs. Edward Lahr of Arlington, Va.; two brothers, Andrew Weldon ofFlorien, and A. G. Weldon of Shreveport; and one sister, Mrs. MillieSnell of Houston; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

      Pallbearers were W. E. Leach, Talmadge Westbook, J. H. Snell, FredIsgitt, J. E. Dees, and William Max Leach
