      25 Oct 1973 - Mrs. Louvina Alford, 75, of Lancaster, Calif., died afteran extended illness on Thursday, Oct. 1.

      Mrs. Alford is survived by 2 sons, Herman Alford of Lancaster, Calif.,and Victor Ray Alford of Clovis, N. M., 5 brothers, Claude McComic,Florien, Marshall McComic, Minden, Glen McComic, Oakdale, Wyatt McComic,Nederland, Tex., and Johnny McComic, New Orleans; 3 sisters, Mrs. RubyGraham, Bogalusa, Mrs. Nervie Sparks, Many, Mrs. Mageline Phelps, Fisher,and 3 grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held at the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church on Monday,Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Irby McCullough officiating. Burial wasat Fenders Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
