      Services were held Sept. 18, at Mt. Freedom Baptist Church, for WilliamLloyd Alford, who died suddenly Friday, Sept. 17.

      He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louvinia Alford; two sons, Herman B.Alford of Lancaster, Calif., and Victor Roy Alford of Clovis, New Mexico;and one sister, Mrs. Elma Gandy of Bossier City.

      Pallbearers were T. M. Phillips, Luther Williams, J. M. Vickers, ColemanHippler, J. C. Maris, and W. A. Dew.

      Services were under the directions of Warren Meadows Funeral Home, withthe Rev. Irby McCollough officiating.
