      Allen G. Lewing, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Nov 6, 1964

      Funeral services were held Nov. 2, for Allen G. Lewing, 72, who died Nov.1, after a short illness.

      The services were held at Florien Baptist Church, with the Rev. HenryIsgitt, and Rev. Cecil Knippers officiating.

      Burial was in Florien Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral Home incharge.

      Masonic graveside rites were held.

      Mr. Lewing was a member of the Police Jury for eight years, and a memberof the School Board for six years.

      Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Allen Lewing of Florien; one son, AllenLewing Jr. of the U. S. Air Force; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Lilly ofNatchitoches, Mrs. A. G. Tynes of Natchitoches, Mrs. Edward E. Bailey ofShreveport; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

      Pallbearers were Junior Pickett, Roy Alford, Clarence Bullard, CharlieJett, Paul Ebarb, Nathan Wright, Garland Vines, John McCollister
