      Mrs. Lela Marie Farmer, 68, died at Heritage Manor I Nursing Home inMany, LA, on May 20, 1989.

      Services were held at Rocky Springs Baptist Church, at 10 a.m., on May22, with Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating. Burial was at MarthavilleCemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

      Survivors include one son, Pat Farmer of Belmont; two daughters,BettyRowe of Zwolle, and Donna Sandifer of Many; one sister, Mattie Rains ofRobeline; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of niecesand nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Farmer; andone son, Jimmy Farmer.
