Thomas Albert Flenniken, 91, of Shreveport, died on Friday, Nov. 15, froman extended illness.
He is survived by his wife; Mrs. Mae Flenniken of Shreveport; four sons,Wilbur, and Noble Flenniken of Natchotoches, T. C. Flenniken ofShreveport, and Burl Flenniken of Three Rivers, Calif.; three daughters,Mrs. Dollie Calderon of Shreveport, Mrs. Reta Schram of Alexandria, andMrs. Ruth Roberts of LeCompte; 17 grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren.
Services were held in the New Cedron Baptist Church on Sunday, Nov. 17,at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Glen Flenniken officiating. Interment was in theNew Cedron Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Norman Rhodes, Nolan Rhodes, Stephen LaCaze, NathanAlbritton, Steve Flenniken, and Glynn Roberts.
