Mrs. Etta Mae Flenniken, 78, of Shreveport, died in Shreveport onThursday, Nov. 2, at 9:14 p.m., following an extended illness.
Survivors include four sons, Noble Flenniken, and Wilburn Flenniken, bothof Natchitoches, T. C. Flenniken of Monohan, Tex., and Byrl Flenniken ofthree Rivers, California; three daughters, Mrs. Dollie Calderon ofShreveport, Mrs. Reta Hendryx of Bossier City, and Mrs. Ruth Roberts ofLeCompte; three
brothers, Curtis Rhodes of Provencal, Archie Rhodes of DeBerry, Tex., andMarshall Rhodes of Waco, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Avery Hall of Coldwater,and Mrs. Rena Beason of DeBerry, Tex.; 18
grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the New Cedron Church on Saturday, Nov. 4,at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Leach, and the Rev. Andrews officiating. Burialwas in the New Cedron Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren MeadowsFuneral Home.
Pallbearers were Steve Flenniken, Johnnie Calderon, Mike Schrame, BarryFlenniken, Nathan Albritton, and Elmer Reece.
