      Funeral services for Virgie Lucille Oxley, 85, were held on March 8,1994, at 2 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Hornbeck, with burialfollowing in the Oxley Cemetery. Rev. Bobby McCullan, and Rev. Roy Dowdenofficiated.

      Mrs. Oxley died on March 6, 1994, at the Heritage Manor #1 in Many.

      She is survived by four sons, Riley Oxley of Peachtree City, Ga., W. L.Oxley of Wiley, Tex., Johnny Oxley of Memphis, Tenn., and A. Dean Oxleyof Hornbeck, LA; three daughters, Elizabeth Sullivan of Claude, Tex.,Marie Bynam of Hornbeck, LA, and Rose Melancon of South Haven, Miss.; onesister, Evelyn Brooks of Sulphur, LA; one brother, Cleveland Rogers ofAnacoco, LA; 13 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
