Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Ella Mae Oxley of Many; foursons, Lovell, Aubrey, and Kenneth Oxley, all of Robeline, and Loy Oxleyof Many; seven daughters, Mrs. H. S. Miller of Robeline, Mrs. W. J.Strickland of Many, Mrs. Felton Thibodeaux of Vidor, Tex., Mrs. LawrenceBertrand of Bossier
City, Mrs. Evan Dyess of Marthaville, Mrs. O. E. Woodel of Shreveport,and Mrs. Julius Broadway of Robeline; four brothers, Jim, Hezkeith,Henry, and Edward Oxley, all of Many; two sisters,
Mrs. Lillie Brumley, and Mrs. Emma Hayes, both of many; 40 grandchildren;and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Warren Baptist Church, Oct. 15, with theRev. H. H. Tibbitts, Travis McCullough, and the Rev. Brent Fleming.Burial was in Warren Baptist Cemetery, under the direction of WarrenMeadows Funeral Home of Many.
